Revised standard available for public review

VANCOUVER, WA — The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has announced that it is creating the BSR-IICRC S600 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Carpet Installation, according to a press release.

The revised draft of S600 was available for the first round of public review from January 25 to March 11, 2013, and is now available for a second round public review and comment starting June 13 through July 28, 2014, the release stated.

According to the release, this industry consensus document will give specific guidance for the proper, recommended procedures for installing various carpet products in different types of installations.
