VANCOUVER, WA — The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has opened nominations for the 2014 IICRC Board of Directors, according to a press release.

Candidates should have knowledge and experience working in the floor covering, textile, upholstery, inspection and restoration industries, the release stated.

According to the release, submissions are due to the IICRC Headquarters no later than July 19, 2013.

"It's an exciting time to be involved with the IICRC. We are always looking for new ideas to help advance the Institute, so we welcome all nominations and hope this call for nominations attracts a skilled and enthusiastic set of qualified candidates," said Rodney Paulson, chairman of the IICRC Vetting Committee.

Once nominations are received, the IICRC Vetting Committee will thoroughly review each candidate and his/her qualifications; while all nominations will be reviewed and responded to, not all nominees will be deemed qualified or recommended by the committee for election, the release noted.

To submit a nomination, download the official nomination form and submit it to IICRC headquarters by the JULY 19, 2013, the release added.
