Next Gear Solutions Acquires ClientRunner

OXFORD, MS — Next Gear Solutions, the developers of DASH, this week signed an agreement to acquire ClientRunner, its nearest competitor, according to a press release.

“The acquisition will couple Next Gear’s expansive and powerful feature set with ClientRunner’s ease of use, creating a combination that will address the needs of a dynamic industry,” according to the company.

ClientRunner co-founder and CEO Scott Severe will become Next Gear’s Chief Sales Officer as part of the acquisition.

“I am pleased to welcome Scott and the ClientRunner leadership to the Next Gear family,” Garret Gray, Next Gear Solution’s CEO, said in the release. “We are excited to unite the ClientRunner platform and customer base under the Next Gear banner.”

Next Gear Solutions was founded in 2008 and released DASH the following year. Since that time, the Next Gear suite has grown to include franchise and insurance solutions as well as options for home and business owners with loses.

ClientRunner began in 2003 as a solution for a single restoration contractor looking to take his business digital, and the software was launched publicly in 2011.

“DASH and ClientRunner are the first and second most adopted job management systems in the restoration market, and I believe this combination of talent and technology will benefit the entire industry,” Gray said. “Next Gear is committed to serving all types of contractors, large and small, simple and complex, and together we will merge power with simplicity.”
