VANCOUVER, WA — The owner of an Oregon home-inspection business has pled guilty to charges that he conducted site reviews without proper training or lead-based paint inspectioncertification when looking for lead-based paint, according to the Claims Journal.

Martin G. Kuna is the owner of "Mr. Mold," a business that inspects homes for mold, radon, lead-based paint and asbestos, the article stated.

According to the article, from May 2008 until September 2012, Kuna claimed in ads that he was certified to conduct lead-based paint inspections.

In January 2012, after performing at least 10 of these inspections, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) told Kuna to stop, but he continued until September, the article noted.
