Look for the October issue of Cleanfax online

BIRMINGHAM, AL — The digital edition of the October Cleanfax is available online now and the print edition should be arriving in homes within the week.

As always, the newest issue of Cleanfax is full of technical tips for the cleaning and restoration industry, ways to improve your business and all the most pressing topics for our readers.

Our October cover features the 2015 Carpet Cleaning Benchmarking Survey Report — our annual look at statistics from the carpet cleaning industry obtained by surveying hundreds of in the industry.

Some highlights from this year’s survey:

• 55 percent of carpet cleaning companies now say they perform encapsulation cleaning as opposed to last year‘s 46 percent;
• Only 49 percent says they belong to industry associations, down from 67 percent last year;
• The most common price for cleaning a 500-square-foot living room, dining room and hall was the $ 126 – $150 range (last year, $101 – $125).
