IICRCA releases a call for papers for The Event
LAS VEGAS — The International Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Council of Associations (IICRCA) today announced a call for papers and proposals for its spring 2016 IICRCA The Event, according to a press release.
In advance of its spring conference, IICRCA invites ideas, proposals and papers on topics related to:
- Inspection,
- Cleaning,
- Restoration,
- Small business practices,
- Views or new approaches to very specific cleaning sciences:
- Handling viral health concerns,
- Trauma scene cleanup,
- Specialty environments (schools, daycares, healthcare settings).
The Event will have presentations and general and breakout sessions, including those related to business, broad industry interests, futuristic industry trends and cutting-edge topics on cleaning and maintenance technologies and efficiencies.
To submit a paper proposal, email the proposed title, authors and a brief summary, abstract or outline of the topic or paper to [email protected] by September 15.
The IICRCA strongly discourages “Commercial approaches and marketing or product promotion” for papers.
Submitted proposals will be intensely reviewed for appropriateness of content and usefulness, and those that are not chose will for this particular event “may be considered for other upcoming IICRCA events.”
“The IICRCA intends to keep the owners and managers of firms doing business in our industry up to date with recent findings and innovative new processes and practices,” the organization said in the release. “The mission of the IICRCA is to be a global voice for the inspection, cleaning and restoration related industries by uniting allied organizations through education, advocacy, research and networking services to the membership.”
The conference and trade show will be held May 11-13, 2016.
