IICRC and HHI share mold prevention tips

BOISE, ID — The Healthy House Institute (HHI) and The Institute of Inspection Cleaning Restoration and Certification (IICRC) are partnering to offer professionals tips they can share with clients and consumers, according to a press release.

According to the release, five steps to prevent mold growth after a catastrophic flood include:

Step One: Check it out
Step Two: Get it out
Step Three: Clean it up
Step Four: Dry it out — quickly
Step Five: Keep it dry.
