ATLANTA — Crawford & Co. has unveiled a new mobile-based claims technology that will help its adjusters make better claims assessments on site, according to a press release.
The site assessment tool, which works on iOS, Android and BlackBerry mobile devices, will empower its mobile workforce and enable the automation of task management for field activities, the release stated.
"Site assessment technology is another one of our numerous internal innovations developed to help us drive effective claim management," said Crawford President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jeffrey T. Bowman.
"We continue to focus on the newest and enhanced methods to more completely, accurately and securely capture and share data with insurers and their clients, saving them time and money," Bowman added.
According to the release, the mobile application is fully integrated with Crawford's systems and enables adjusters to input notes in audio, video and written formats.
