The competition is open to RIA member and non-member firms who are active service providers in the restoration and remediation industry, the release stated.
According to the release, to be considered for eligibility, a project must be at least 90 percent complete by December 2012, and projects must involve the restoration or reconstruction of residential or commercial buildings.
"The Phoenix Awards illustrate the best aspects of the restoration industry," said Patricia Harman, the RIA director of standards and communications.
"The projects entered are excellent examples of the creativity, knowledge and ingenuity required by restoration professionals on a daily basis," Harman added.
The registration deadline is Monday, December 17, 2012; entries will be accepted until Friday, January 4, 2013, and will be assessed a $75 late fee if received after December 17, the release noted.
