Proctor & Gamble releases survey results

CINCINNATI — Proctor & Gamble recently released the 2014 results of its annual Cleaning Industry Insights Survey performed by the P&G Professional sector, according to a press release.

The survey found many commonalities across industries, including that 36 percent of all respondents in various cleaning-related industries cited keeping customers satisfied as their number one business priority, a figure that is even higher in the commercial cleaning industry at 55 percent.

Other noteworthy statistics are:

  • 55 percent — said the most important factor in cleaning products the ability to “get the job done right the first time”
  • 59 percent of cleaning managers say they are using a “doing-more-with-less” approach due to budget cuts
  • 66 percent said they were proud of the cleanliness they achieve

The P&G Professional 2014 Cleaning Industry Insights Survey, which analyzed the responses of 401 cleaning industry professionals, was conducted in partnership with Ipsos Public Affairs in May 2014.
