WASHINGTONThe American Cleaning Institute® (ACI) presented at the 10th World Surfactant Congress and Business Convention held June 1 through the 3 in Istanbul, Turkey, according to a press release.

The event, organized by the European Committee of Organic Surfactants and their Intermediates (CESIO) and which is generally referred to as CESIO, saw presentations on behalf of ACI from Kathleen Stanton, Dr. Stephen M. Mudge, Dr. Francis Kruszewski and Dr. Paul DeLeo.

ACI imparted “its expertise on trends in North American ecolabeling, the safety of fatty alcohol-based surfactants and how existing industry research prevents unnecessary animal testing.

Research and science provide the backbone to cleaning product industry safety and effectiveness around the world,” Richard Sedlak, ACI executive vice president, technical and international affairs, said in the release. “Our presentations and interactions at CESIO and the new information we’re gathering will allow us to better serve our members throughout the cleaning product supply chain.”
