2015-2016 IICRC Board of Directors, new chairman named

LAS VEGAS — During the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification’s (IICRC) October shareholder meeting, elections were held for five board member positions, and today the elected members were named, according to a press release.

Dennis Blake was reelected to the board, and four new elected members and two honorary members were named:

  • Jeff Bishop,
  • Matt Cole,
  • Craig Kersemeier ,
  • Lonnie McDonald,
  • Gary Glenn (honorary),
  • Doug Heiferman (honorary).

IICRC instructor Heiferman’s addition to the board comes as “an effort to increase transparency and improve the instructor program.”

The new Board of Directors elected a new IICRC leader as their first act of business. Pete Duncanson is the new Chairman, as well as  President of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee consists of:

  • Craig Kersemeier (first vice president),
  • Kevin Pearson (second vice president),
  • Paul Pearce (third vice president),
  • Joe Dobbins (treasurer),
  • Lonnie McDonald (secretary),
  • Tony Wheelwright (immediate past Chairman).

“This is going to be a year of exciting change for the Institute,” said new IICRC Chairman Pete Duncanson. “With all of the new faces on the Board and their combined expertise, the IICRC is in a good place to take the Institute to the next level and continue its role as a leader in the industry.”

Additional members of the 2015-2016 Board of Directors include:

  • Peter Crosa,
  • Joe Hughes,
  • Craig Jasper,
  • Patrick Moffett,
  • Steve Moran,
  • Randy Rapp.
