PORTLAND, OR — Exit Strategies 360° Inc. has developed two online workshop series which help owners prepare to sell their businesses, according to a press release.
The workshop series each consist of two 60- to 90-minute sessions per month for five months (10 total) — August through December and January through May.
“Preparing My Business for Sale,” the first workshop series, provides guidance to owners early in the selling process with lessons aimed at maximizing a business’ value, such as how to “boost efficiency and profitability.”
“Selling My Own Business,” the second workshop series, offers owners direction to sell their companies themselves “effectively and comfortably.”
“Brokers charge 8 to 10 percent for their services; after the closing table and taxes, this can easily result in fees in excess of 20 to 30 percent of your net proceeds,” Exit Strategies 360° said in the release. “Another way had to be created; we’ve done just that.”
