"I am a QuickBooks consultant for contractors and had been in the habit of advertising weekly in my local community newspaper in Miami. The ad was quite iStocksuccessful and kept me busy.

“Then I moved four hours away to Ocala, FL. My old advertising rep kept calling me as she knew I did a lot of my QuickBooks consulting by telephone and Internet. But I stopped advertising with her as I started advertising in Ocala.  

“Nevertheless, she continued to call me every six months or so to inquire about me and to stay in touch.  This went on for over six years!

“I recently moved back to Miami and guess who was one of my first calls to start advertising again! 

“I guess the moral of the story is never give up.  It took her six-plus years to make the sale. But…she made it!"

Persistence is critical and the payoff will often be sooner than you think. As a restoration contractor, don’t be discouraged and don’t slow down.

Manage your company carefully as your persistence will equal success.

Keep persisting until you get the “yes”.
