VANCOUVER, WA — In response to questions involving the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification’s (IICRC) announcement that they will be transition to a new management firm, Metacred, in 2015, the organization has released a FAQ sheet in regards to the transition, according to the IICRC website.

The IICRC reports in the FAQ it currently uses management firm KCI, but with that company’s contract ending in 2015, the IICRC began accepting proposals from which it chose Metacred “based on their presentation, capabilities, vision and ability to take the Institute to the next level. Metacred will assume management of the IICRC officially on February 15, 2015.

The FAQ reports that instructors will see very few changes, if any, other than a shifted mailing address — from Vancouver, WA to Las Vegas. The FAQ also reports that certifying and certified firms, employers and other interested parties will see positive changes, including better customer service and online tools.

“We also welcome you to introduce yourself to David Rozsca [Metacred CEO and] IICRC Executive director, by emailing,” said the IICRC in the sheet.

The change is not expected to affect any IICRC fees.
