WACO, TX – When at least 11 tornadoes were sighted in central Iowa on July 6, during a line of storms the damaged much of the central U.S., Rainbow International, a global franchise organization providing residential and commercial restoration and cleaning services, jumped into action, according to a press release.

The Rainbow International franchise in Grundy County, Iowa received 60 emergency calls related to the storms which had flooded homes, sent trees through roofs and created sprawling devastation to the area.

While trying to help families prevent further damage and save as many of their possessions as possible, Grundy County Rainbow franchise owner, Jason Scafferi, realized his team couldn’t handle all the local cases alone.

Scafferi called on the help of nearby franchise locations and received help from Marysville and Junction City, KS, as well as the four-hour-away Sioux Falls, SD franchise.

“Thank you to all of those who have helped and sacrificed their personal time to be there for these families. We would not have been able to do all that we have done without everyone’s help,” Scafferi said in the release. “Rainbow International franchisees always come together as a family. When one is in need, the others are there to serve and help the families who are in greater need.”
