Bridgewater names new environmental health and safety manager

SALT LAKE CITY — Bridgewater LLC recently announced it had named Michael Adams as the new environmental health and safety manager, according to a press release.

At Bridgewater, Adams will oversee employee safety programs, environmental compliance programs and regulatory compliance; help mitigate risk during manufacturing operations; strengthen the company’s sustainable products; and work closely with R&D, manufacturing and Interlink Supply throughout the U.S.

Adams holds a Master’s degree in chemical engineering and previously worked for a global consumer products company in various positions, including regulatory affairs team lead and environmental regulatory affairs specialist.

“Michael’s character, experience and resume made him an excellent selection for this role, as he will uphold the strong values that Bridgewater maintains for its employees, such as integrity, purpose driven and the pursuit of perfection,” the company said in the release. “We look forward to Michael becoming an important member to the Bridgewater team as we work toward our goals of providing excellent products and customer services for all of Bridgewater’s brands and services.”

Adams officially assumed the role on March 2, 2015.
