ServiceMonster makes available nationwide residential cleaning averages

Marketing high tech background

BELLINGHAM, WA — ServiceMonster, the cleaning business software provider, recently published on its website statistical averages for residential services, according to a press release.

The averages are presented both in list form and in map form, showing the 2014 average invoices for each state.

The company reports that ServiceMonster users processed more than $280 million total last year, and these averages were created using that data.

According to the list, Rhode Island had the highest national average invoice amount, with an average cleaning total of $403.07. North Dakota and Massachusetts came in rather far behind Rhode Island at $352.91 and $341.91, respectively. The lowest state average was South Dakota at $194.14.

“We hope others in the industry find this information helpful – and interesting,” states ServiceMonster co-founder and CEO, Joe Kowalski. “The purpose of releasing the data is to inform cleaners and other professionals within the industry. As a business software provider, our work revolves around data and numbers, and helping people make the best decisions possible for their business based off that knowledge is what we live and breathe.”
