BURLINGTON, WA — Restoration Sciences Academy (RSA) recently added a second classroom to its Nashville RSA training facility, making the facility capable of hosting the complete lineup of RSA certification classes, according to a press release.

The Nashville RSA location, named the James C. Meyers Education Center for the former Dri-Eaz customer service manager, education manager and product development manager who was instrumental in establishing the campus in 2003, now accommodates 70 students at a time as a result of the added 24-seat classroom.

Complete with a hands-on, hard surface area for demonstrating cleaning techniques, the new classroom also offers a containment area.

With the 400-square-foot expansion made in 2012 and this new classroom, the available certifications in the Nashville RSA location include: carpet cleaning, estimating, mold remediation, fire/odor and water restoration. And specialized courses in carpet repair and reinstallation, color repair, and health and safety, which have previously been offered only occasionally anywhere in the country. These are required courses to receive Master certification with the IICRC.

“So many years of effort have gone into fulfilling Jim Myers’ vision of education. I think he really saw what education in this industry could be, and now we have the ability to make those dreams a reality in Nashville,” Legend Brands Education Manager Kevin Fisher said in the release. “To be here on campus with so many classes going on is incredible. The energy, networking, fun — it just can’t be beat!”
